The first edition of the prize was delivered in the frame of the “Wheats & Women” International Conference aimed to present the latest news in terms of research, approaches and technologies and to highlight “what and how” problems must be still solved in order to obtain optimal and stable productivity of wheat. Wheat varieties, in fact, are going to face more and more challenges, including climate changes, and wheat crop must be "sustainable" in terms of field production, security, quality, nutritional and dietary value, including safety.
Ksenia Krasileva and Annamaria Mastrangelo were respectively the 1st and 2nd classified of the edition 2018. |
